Feb 17, So I was wondering if the Tiger II is any good. I hardly play tier 8's anymore because of the current matchmaking, and the only tier 8's I do play.

Do you have a compilation of those 20 games which is an extremely low sample size to show that you aren't jsut exaggerating?
Work is kicking my [edited]with team members out sick and on holiday and I've not gotten around to it yet. Suffice to say, unless we can get together and create a decent sample which naturally must also include people who feel the current MM is positive then we lack any kind of real proof. I would be less dismissive than HugSeal but at the same time, he's not wrong, where is our proof? I will try and get this "How To" written this evening even though I'm on the back of a 16 hour day.

It's not looking like the next few weeks will be any less hectic but it's needed if we actually want to have any kind of informed discussion on this issue. Those two tanks should have identical MM, though if you're working with tiny sample sizes it might not be apparent.
It feels absolutely screwed, yes. I'm doing a little experiment to see how screwed it actually is. HugSeal, on 30 June - Swoopie, on 30 June - Tier 8 sucks to play, yes.
That doesn't make that claim correct. Tier 8 is extra harsh since there are a LOT of people playing tier 8, a lot of people plaing tier 10 and you only get 6 tanks each battle being top tier if you want -2 matchmaking.

Yeah those tanks having different MM is complete tinfoilhattery. Shouldn't probably post while tired Anyway, even only T8 games are quite rare. I've been playing some T8's recently Mainly Lorraine and other T8 prems. Iirc there was a post on reddit recently showing how badly T8's get shafted by the current MM with statistics and stuff but dont have the link for this occasion. Stewie2ie, on 30 June - Personally, I don't have too many issues with it either, but tVIII does face a lot of higher tier matches.
More than any other tier. And that's a problem. It's not that you are necessarily wrong man, I just think from an economic perspective people aren't likely to buy too many T8 Cash Tanks so they learn how to use them in t10 battles. That's just not how that works for most people and that's the a massive problem for the company from a revenue perspective if it continues. With sales of course, the only true metric Jigabachi, on 30 June - Achibot, on 30 June - Probably also the fact that the Tiger II is a pretty sad and lacklustre option vs other T8s, much less any higher tiers. An IS-3 is still competitive in a T9 game and can't be ignored in a T10 game - it's still viable.

Ever since the last ops began, I noticed it. I was only playing Soviet tanks and moving up the tiers and skills. As my guns and skiils have upgraded, I've been in more challenging matches.

Teams with three, sometimes more, top tiers than the the other team. Not to mention the disproportionate spread of tank classes in a match. WG is allowing this crap to happen. So we all get into a game quicker?
