You used to be able to just enjoy yourself at a bar, club, or in general with a group of folks with the same sexual orientation as yourself and leave politics out of whatever you were doing. I understand a transgender person wanting to be called by their new pronoun and I think that's fine, but all of these new ones that people seem to be pulling out of their asses are ridiculous and frankly I refuse to use them.

I consider myself a liberal person but I refuse to jump on every new "progressive" fad that comes along. There's a non-resident member at my yacht club who was born a man, but did the whole sha-bang to be a woman. If you get your wang surgically removed, I can call you ma'am. If you go through the whole process, I am happy to call you either he or she.

It takes more balls than I have to do that. Or, I guess ironically, less. If you want me to call you vaginakin or some other such nonsense because you feel that way that day? For me coming to this city 3 years ago, the best thing I did was join a hobby group. I work on mopeds with 2 of the local Detroit gangs and it's a great way to meet people from all over.
