As you indicate dating these is tricky Yours may easily fall into the serial pool By the way,never fully list your serial number as there are folks that will steal your guitars identity! Even though there are places, where people put in there 6 digit number and get a date that doesn't match up with the model they own.

I believe it is a one piece neck - I cannot see any join lines through the finish although the dark finish makes it quite tricky. I also assume the wood is mahogany from the chip behind the neck below: Here is the inside of the electronics bay: The numbers that I can make out are '' and '' but the solder blobs on the pots make it rather difficult.
