Covenants are just plain and simply not working for a large amount of people, and this has been demonstrated as an issue with the fact that Steam players can resolve it by opening a family sharing account. These people were always able to connect to other players through summon signs. From don't seem to have acknowledged this issue. See here for more info: It makes me so mad that this genuinely works. Have been using it for a coupla days now and it's the only way I've managed to get consistent summons, approx 2 - 8 minutes between auto-summons.

I was happy to find that it works for other people around the same SL and weapon upgrade to me, 'cos then I knew there was a problem that was beyond me over-levelling or something. Yes, it's two for the most part, but moves up to three when reaching 8. At least that's what the google translation of the page seems to suggest, so it could be wrong. OP updated the post without me noticing it, he added the table for matchmakeable weapon upgrades and it confirms what I was saying.

Moving your saves over to a family sharing account fixes all auto summon covenants. Sentinels works now and I'm summoned once every 5 to 10 minutes. No idea why, but it was posted here a while ago and buried. Probably some account related bug. I hear you could get past a soft ban by enabling a family sharing account too. Perhaps both are related? Turn on Family Sharing in Steam settings. Create a new account. Log into new account.

Go back to your old account. Enable your new account to "use your library on this system". Log into your new account. Create new characters, one for each of the characters on your main account. On the Load Game screen, hover one of your characters.

Tab out, paste the save file DS? Enter the game on the character you were hovering over. It should be the first character on your main accounts list. Tada, you can now Bluebro. From what I've gathered, it queues up newer made accounts way faster, or even just at all. Which means day 1 players are screwed, and all console players are screwed.

The explains why the first day of release I made it to watchdogs of farron and had nonstop summons - and now nothing. You could technically use home console sharing on the Xbox One to share the game and gold benefits, but you'd have to use a new character. Try unequipping the covenant and killing yourself IRL only if this doesnt work then re-equip when you've respawned. Is there a similar workaround for PS4 players? As a covenant invader: E Invaders level Max: I read somewhere that you'd invade people from SL50 to SL with that level.

I'm still getting summoned pretty much instantly all the time, but I'm surprised. So Aldrich Faithfuls not only fight a 2v1 pretty often, they also have a higher level? And let's not forget that Darkmoons can't even get summoned to defend from Aldritches, even though they are supposed to be rivals.

Online Information

If theres no Red Phantom, the Darkmoon aint comin. Why would they do this? I've never once been summoned as darkmoon blade and now I know why I guess. That was a silly decision. Well, Darkmoons are also limited by the number of people wearing the Way of the Blue, in addition to the other restrictions Darkmoons work with.

Why would From deliberately pick to do a worse system when their original system was much better D:. I've done 30 kills for both watchdogs and aldrich, but I've had blues summoned on me before. Thats a goddamn shame, because when Darkmoons and Aldritches get into the same game, batshit crazy stuff happens.

I've played games with like 2 aldritches, a white phantom, a red phantom and a blue phantom all get summoned into the same game. Shit was nuts and awesome. It took me multiple sessions just to get to 10 shackles, even longer for 10 tongues. Getting 10 dregs took me around an hour. For shackles I was about 40 at Pontiff. I never got summoned, so I invaded instead, and never had to stand around waiting.

Plus the soapstone is much more likely to put you in a fight club, while i need to get the host. Yeah it's really stupid. For most of the game the invader has to fight 3 far higher level people at once and basically stand no chance of winning unless the host fucks up.

For other invader covenants its suddenly fine for the host to get ganked by 2 higher levels. The contrast is ridiculous. Apparently the Japanese love ganking. I've read many times on this subreddit that the culture over there prefers 3v1 invasion fights compared to 1v1 duels with "pvp etiquette" or whatever.

That said, obviously don't take my word from it; this info is third-hand based on something I read on the internet from various people who read something on the internet.

Dark Souls 3 PvP ► The Complete Breakdown

You got it right. The Japanese loved "ganking". Or to put it more accurately, there's no "ganking"; that's the way they think invasion works. Any invader failing to use the mob deserves to be ridiculed and looked down on. However, they do have "demachi", in which the host and phantoms killed all the mob and wait for invaders so they can slaughter the unwitting red phantoms.

Your NAT settings should be in your router or modem somewhere. You should have options to disable it don't do that , and filtering options Open vs. Make sure it's set to open. The 2 times I've been summoned as blue it's been in the same map. Are the summons locked to the map you're in or can you get summoned anywhere?

MODERATORS

If not that seems limited. It focuses more on matching you in the area you are in but is not limited to summoning you there. If you are at Anor Londo for ex. I'm sure I'll totally manage to find a level Way of the Blue member. RIP me, give me a Blue Eye orb. No need to add sin, problem solved.

Even better, allow Blueberries to get Concords the way Sunbros can get Symbols with invasions. But not with the Red Orb, only the soapstone. Red Orb invaders are unwanted. Soapstone invaders are invited. Tracking Rosaria players might be a problem though. They don't ever have to wear their covenant to obtain their tongues. Using the flag set by giving Rosaria a tongue could work.
